Menu: Week of December 13-19

Are you ready for this week's menu? My mouth has been watering just picking out these recipes!

Monday: Spinach Quiche
Tuesday: Roast Chicken and Popovers
Wednesday: Creamy Poppyseed Chicken
Thursday: Leftover/Takeout Night
Friday: Antipasto Calzones
Saturday: Home-made Chicken Noodle Soup (please note that this needs to start cooking in the crockpot the night before, so check back for directions on starting it before Saturday comes!)
Sunday: Spaghetti and Cheesy Stuffed Meatballs
Family Night Treat: Peanut Butter Brownie Cookies

*As always, links to the recipes will be added no later than 5 AM the morning of the day they are supposed to be served for dinner.

Pantry:
flour (whole wheat and all-purpose)
rice
powdered sugar
yeast
poppy seeds
salt
pepper
lemon pepper (optional)
chicken bouillon granules
Italian Style bread crumbs
honey
canola oil
olive oil
balsamic vinegar
shortening
8 oz can mushrooms
2 jarred roasted red bell peppers
1/4 cup chopped black olives
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
10 oz box of frozen chopped spinach
1 small can or jar marinara sauce
1 jar of your favorite pasta sauce
1 sleeve Ritz crackers
16 oz uncooked spaghetti noodles
1 box Brownie Mix (I used Pillsbury)
1/2 can ready to spread chocolate frosting
peanut butter

Fresh:
3 onions
3 eggs
2 sweet potatoes
head of broccoli
raw spinach leaves (just need a handful's worth)
butter
milk
16 oz carton sour cream
4 oz cream cheese
2 cups (8 oz) Cheddar cheese
2 cups (8 oz) Swiss cheese
2 cups (8 oz) Italian blend shredded cheese (the kind with Mozzarella, Provolone, Asiago, Parmesan, Romano and Fontina, if possible)
2 oz mozzarella cheese (all the above cheeses will be shredded but not the mozzarella so get it in block form!)
a little parmesan cheese (an optional garnish, you don't need much)
pre-cooked pie crust (or ingredients for your favorite pie crust recipe)
1 whole chicken
1 (4 oz) salami or 4 oz. pepperoni
1 lb ground beef
