Menu: Week of December 20-26

I'm only planning out Monday-Wednesday of this week's menu. The rest of the week you are on your own! Enjoy your family's favorite Christmas food traditions!

Monday: Fire-Roasted Tomato Soup (serve with crusty bread or grilled cheese sandwiches)
Tuesday: Chicken Korma
Wednesday: Italian Breaded Pork Chops and Baked Potatoes
Thursday: Leftover/Takeout night
Friday: Christmas Eve
Saturday: Christmas Day
Sunday: leftovers from Christmas dinner
Family Night Treat: Christmas Crack

Pantry:
canola oil
olive oil
cooking spray
2 (14 oz) cans chopped fire-roasted tomatoes
2 cups chicken stock (or bouillon cubes or granules to make 2 cups of broth)
rice
salt
sugar
brown sugar
black pepper
crushed red pepper
1 cinnamon stick
1 bay leaf
3 whole cloves
curry powder
dried parsley
Italian seasoned bread crumbs
1 sleeve Saltine crackers
1 bag (2 cups) chocolate chips
3/4 cup nuts (almonds or pecans)


Fresh:
2 yellow onions
7 cloves garlic
2 tomatoes
1 gingerroot
russet potatoes (1 for each member of your family, for the baked potatoes + 1 for the Chicken Korma)
2 Tbsp fresh herbs (parsley, basil, cilantro etc)
1/2 pint heavy cream
1/2 cup sour cream
3 eggs
milk
1 stick butter
4 pork chops
1 lb chicken breast
whatever you like for toppings for baked potatoes (cheese, sour cream, bacon bits, chives, etc)
